ONDA Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

ONDA is a mood diary and a habit tracker. What you write here is yours. This policy explains plainly what information exists, where each piece of it lives, and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible

Controller: FomoLabs
Country: Colombia
Contact email: onda@fomolabs.tech
Website: fomolabs.tech/onda
This policy: go.fomolabs.tech/onda/politica-de-privacidad

2. The short version, in three sentences

Your diary, your moods and your habits are kept on your phone and are not sent to any server of ours.
ONDA has no accounts: we don't ask for an email, a name or a password to use it.
You can erase everything from inside the app, and erase means erase.

3. What stays on your phone

ONDA never sends any of this off your device:

All of it lives in the app's private storage, the area the operating system keeps walled off from other apps.

4. What is stored off your phone

None of the above. ONDA has no accounts and no server of its own to keep information about you, and we do not collect personal data.

If you turn on Onda+ sync, your diary, habits and focus sessions are also kept in your own iCloud (the private database of your Apple account) to keep your Apple devices up to date. That space is yours and Apple manages it; ONDA has no access to it or to your account, and you can turn it off at any time in Profile. If you do not turn it on, none of this happens.

If you save a backup from Profile, you create the file and keep it wherever you choose; it is not encrypted and ONDA never receives it.

The only information that leaves the phone for a purchase is what the store (Apple or Google) handles when you subscribe to Onda+: the payment, the receipt and the state of your subscription belong to the store, and we never see your card or payment details.

5. Your diary password

If you turn on the diary password, it is not stored as typed. What is stored is a mathematical result from which the original password cannot be recovered, and that result lives in the system's encrypted store: the Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android.

If you use Face ID or a fingerprint, the operating system never hands us your biometric data. It only tells us whether it was you or not.

If you forget the diary password we cannot recover it. That is a consequence of not holding it.

6. Permissions the app asks for, and why

Internet: to buy or restore Onda+ through Apple or Google, and to download new focus-music songs from go.fomolabs.tech. In that download the app requests a public song list and saves the songs on your phone so they play offline; it sends none of your data (any website you connect to can see your IP address). Your diary does not travel over any of these connections.
Notifications: for the reminders you turn on. They are scheduled on your phone and fire there.
Microphone and speech recognition: only if you use dictation in a note. Audio is never saved: the system returns text and that text is what stays in your note, just as if you had typed it.
Camera and photos: only if you pick a profile photo. The photo stays on your phone.

You can refuse any of these permissions. The app keeps working; whatever depends on that permission does not.

7. Third parties

Apple App Store and Google Play: they process the Onda+ subscription and its payment, under their own terms and privacy policies.

We use no analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking or crash-reporting tools. The typefaces ship inside the app, so they are not downloaded from any server either. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.

8. The home-screen widget

If you add the habits widget, the list of your habits and their marks for the week are copied to a space the system shares with the home screen. It is information you already chose to show there. It is erased when you remove the widget or when you delete your data.

9. System backups

The app is configured to stay out of Android's automatic backups. On iOS, if iCloud backup is on, your diary may be included in your phone's backup, encrypted and under your Apple account. That backup is yours and is governed by Apple's terms; we have no access to it.

10. Minors

ONDA is for people aged 16 or over and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe someone under that age is using it, write to onda@fomolabs.tech.

11. Your rights

Access: everything that is yours is visible inside the app. There is no copy of ours that you cannot see.
Correct: you can edit or delete any entry, habit or profile detail whenever you like.
Delete: in Profile there is a "Delete my data" button. It erases, on the phone, your entries, habits, patterns, settings, the diary password, scheduled reminders and the widget. No copy of ours is left anywhere.
Object or complain: write to onda@fomolabs.tech. If you are in Colombia you can also go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.

12. How long it is kept

What is on your phone, for as long as you keep it. When you delete your data or uninstall the app, it is gone.

13. Changes to this policy

If something changes in a relevant way, we will update the date in the heading and tell you inside the app before the change affects you.

14. About how this app is built

ONDA was developed with the help of artificial intelligence. The features that analyse your entries describe what you wrote down; they do not diagnose, predict or replace a mental-health professional. If you are going through a hard time, please seek professional help.
